Cally seems to like to put on costumes. While we deprived her of the opportunity to actually "trick or treat" and collect candy this year, she did get to try out a bunch of different costumes and see a lot of jack-o-lanterns. First she got in the spirit by carving a home-grown pumpkin:
Then, Addy and Tanner dressed her up as a cat for a barn party:
Then she went out to see hundreds of pumpkins with her buddies Isaac, Will, Thompson, Lily, and Crosby dressed like a chicken:
Then she had to try on her cousin, Jameson's bat costume:
And a week later, she tried on her friend Boden's giraffe costume:
It's a hard call as to which one was the cutest......... whatever is the case, she loved putting each and everyone of the costumes on.
And her parents even won "best couple" for their costume...... It turns out the theme of the party was "horror films". I sort of forgot to tell John about that part of the invite. So, when he arrived dressed as minimally as he was, he was somewhat annoyed. However, it was agreed that if you were a teenager, getting pregnant would be pretty "horrifying", so we weren't totally off base.
