The Meyer clan had not gotten together as a group in a few years. We knew my parents were not going to go to Hawaii at Christmas time, so I recommended getting together. I know people who have had family reunions at the Basin Harbor Club in Ferrisburg, VT, so my mom made a few clubs and made it happen.

The Basin Harbor club is perfect. There is tons to do on the lake, a golf course, trails for running and biking, yoga classes, and a pool:
We went to a fun picnic on the water one night:
Nobody was having any fun:
We even indulged in a little tubing fun:

Most importantly, these guys got to make some wonderful memories:
We even took a Forced Family Outing up Snake Mountain:
On our last full day, the kids participated in a mini-triathlon
We lucked out on the weather and got some good family photos:
We loved our time at Basin Harbor Club. It was such an easy vacation-- full of relaxation, fun and lots of family time.
